HVAC Warranties
Trane Heating and Air Conditioning products are backed by the Best Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty in the industry. XLi models registered within 60 days of installation, depending on products selected and combined at installation (Furnace, A/C or Heat Pump, etc.) can have:
- 12 Year limited warranty on compressor
- 10 Year limited warranty on the outdoor coil
- Lifetime limited warranty on heat exchanger
- 10 Year limited warranty on internal functional parts
The Ten (10) Year Functional Parts Limited Warranty extends to the indoor gas furnace, coil, air handler, and thermostat when installed as part of a complete XLi comfort system. An XLi comfort system includes an AHRI-certified matching Trane outdoor XLi unit, indoor unit, and thermostat installed at the same time.
A heating and air conditioning system is a major purchase, so you’ll want to make sure you fully understand the Manufacturer’s Limited Warranty before you buy.
Please note that routine maintenance is required as recommended in the owner’s manual to ensure proper performance of the equipment. Repairs that are required due to lack of routine maintenance are not covered by the Trane Extended Warranty Agreement. Ask your company representative for all the details.
